The
BRET Psychological Services are available for postdoctoral
research fellows and graduate students in the School
of Medicine. The BRET Psychological Services are coordinated
by Darrell Smith, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist, who
has experience with multi-cultural diversity in university
settings. Dr. Smith’s background as a professor
in doctoral training programs, a researcher, an advisor,
a mentor, and a clinician enables him to assist postdoctoral
research fellows and graduate students with their personal,
family, emotional, relational, academic, work, behavioral,
and adjustment needs. A unique feature of the BRET Psychological
Services is the location: They are housed within the
actual context of study and work.
